The combination of newly enacted federal regulations, the rapid population growth of our elders, the Olmstead decision as well as severe traffic congestion in our metropolitan areas make this the most important and accessible time in our state’s history to make a change in transportation. The race for transportation control in your community is hot, and you are in the middle of the action.
Becoming an advocate with the Just Transportation Alliance is the single most important thing you can do to solve transportation problems.
As an advocate you will learn more about improving transportation than most learn in a lifetime. You will learn how to identify transportation issues in your community, how to plan winning campaigns for change, how to work with transportation decision-makers, how to craft a public message, and how to deliver that message. You will also learn how to build a volunteer organization that can pull out a winning vote for transportation on Election Day.

materials you need to
break through the bureaucratic barriers of our current transportation
structure and develop real-world solutions
to improve transportation in your community.
